We want you to enjoy your role here and have all the skills and know-how to do your job to the best of your ability. Induction is essential to ensure that you can contribute effectively in your new role straightaway.

All new staff (including permanent, honorary and temporary staff who are employed for more than three months) take part in our Medical Induction Programme as soon as they start work at the Trust. Inductions take place on the first Wednesday of every month (excluding January). On the Denmark Hill Site and in August, September, October, March and April on the PRUH Site.

You can help ease the induction process by arranging a half-day session before starting. This allows you to be cleared by occupational health and to undertake Electronic Patient Record (EPR) training.
